Single-Covered Yarn

The general process of covering yarn is centered on the spandex which is then evenly wrapped and wound around on its outer layer by a main yarn. It can be divided into S twist or Z twist (Z twist is a clockwise turn, while S twist is a counterclockwise turn); Zhen Shuo's yarn wrapping process can be customized according to customer demands in terms of changing the main yarn (functional yarn or color yarn) and the matching yarn (functional yarn) to create a unique SCY with S or Z twist. Generally, elastic fabrics available in the market mostly are SCY which are fabricated by the Z twist type, while others such as socks and underwear need to use the S twist method due to the differences of the body structure.

Single-Covered Yarn

The general process of this yarn is centered on a spandex covered with two main yarns which are opposite to each other. One of them is Z twist direction (that is, clockwise), and the other is S twist direction (counterclockwise direction). Both yarns wrap around the spandex (that is, outer- and -inner wrapped) using different twist angles to manufacture different fabric handfeel. Therefore, the two main yarns do not need to be the same type and different fibers as well as different specifications can also be used; the feature characteristic of the Zhen Shuo process is that the matching yarn and the two main yarns can be adjusted according to customer needs.

Air-Jet Covered Yarn

The general process of this yarn is to use the principle of compressed air to entangle and combine the matching yarn (spandex) with the main yarn. The method is similar to the principle of air texturing. Zhen Shuo's process can change the main yarn and matching yarn according to customer's needs to produce customized ACY.

Air-Textured Yarn

The general process of this type of yarn uses jet airflow to separate, loosen and bend the fibers of the main yarn to form irregular loops, which are densely arranged, intertwined, and coated with the maching yarn (spandex) to form a structure with a chemical fiber yarn that is tight and has a short-fiber appearance. In the ATY process of Zhen Shuo, buyers can choose different yarns to replace the main yarn and the matching yarn to customize the ATY into a chemical fiber yarn with the appearance of short-fiber touch.
